Medical Micro-Peel Treatments are performed by the highly trained medical providers of Artisan Aesthetics.  Sequentially combining the two treatment modalities of Medical Microdermabrasion and Medical Chemical Peel is known as Medical Micro-Peel.  The treatment is initiated by application of a Medical Chemical Peel and is followed by the performence of medical Microdermabrasion.  For achievement of optimal outcome in specific cases, such as moderate to severe cases of acne, after the completion of the Medical Microdermabrasion a second Medical Chemical Peel treatment is applied to the afflicted area.  The above mentioned therapeutic modalities have additive effect on each other and combining them will significantly enhance and accentuate the overall effects of the treatments.  The application of the Medical Chemical Peel will loosen the protein attachments that connect to the skin’s dead cells to the underlying new epidermal cells and will permit easier, and more thorough, removal of these unwanted cells by the Medical Microdermabrasion procedure. The indications and related considerations are very similar to either Medical Microdermabrasion or Medical Chemical Peels.
